Knowing that they were no longer on a break was something that Kurt rejoiced about. He had loathed the choice terribly, but knew that it was what they had to do. The positive side to their break was the fact that Blaine’s parents actually let up on him, being less harsh than they had previously been because they had less evidence to him being around his boyfriend. It was sad, but true - that’s how it had to be. He bribed Finn out of the house by giving him money to go out and do as he pleased with whomever he would be spending valentines day with, as well as making Burt and Carole last minute reservations at one of the only fancy restaurants in Ohio. As soon as Blaine confirmed that he would come over, he started prepping their dinner for the evening.

After getting everything ready, when he had a free moment he began to set the table, using his best decorating skills to make it lush and romantic. He used their best silverware and china, setting multiple candles along the center of the table and the flowers he had been able to get were placed on the table to give to his boyfriend when he arrived.It had been a long while, the timer ticking down to just under ten minutes left of oven time. Kurt removed his cooking apron, which he wore to make sure he didn’t soil his select outfit of the night and adjusted the tie he was wearing just as he heard the door bell chime. A bright smile broke out over his face as he realized it would be Blaine on the other side of the door, and gosh did he miss him. The chestnut haired male quickly made his way to their front door, taking a long breath to calm his bubbling nerves before he opened the door and revealed his always gorgeous boyfriend on the other side. “Welcome!” Kurt chimed happily, warm smile present on his face as he stepped aside to let Blaine in. “Happy Valentines day, baby.”

The reason that both of them took that break up is because Blaine thought was protecting his boyfriend. He told Kurt that he was scared he’s going to die, that he was scared that they’ll come here and hurt Kurt and Blaine knew that he’ll protect Kurt no matter what, even die for him. When they were on their break Blaine was sure that his parents aren’t going to change but they did they was less shouting in the house because Blaine didn’t talk to Kurt much often but he found out he couldn’t be apart from Kurt it was killing him everyday without him he remember himself crying for hour because he missed his angel, he missed his boyfriend. Before Valentines day he couldn’t take it anymore, Valentines was his favorite holiday and he’s not going to let it go, he decied that he wanted to get back to Kurt and he wanted his boyfriend to be his Valentine. He was so happy that Kurt said yes.

He took a shower, wear something very nice with a bowtie and his hairgel on, took his Ipod because he prepared a song for his beloved. He ran out of the house, ignoring his parents asking him where he was going. They aren’t going to ruin this day! He drove as fast as he could to Kurt’s house, stopping at a shop to buy some flowers. When he got to Kurt’s house he ran to knock on the door, hiding the flowers behind his back, when Kurt opened he smiled and he could feel his eyes watered, he felt like he didn’t see him forever “Baby, happy Valentines day.” He showed him the flowers but really didn’t let him have enough time to look at them before entering the house, pushing Kurt gently against the door and kissing his lips like he didn’t taste them forever, what was the truth, he moaned into the kiss, he missed his boyfriend so much and he doesn’t want to let go.
